Summer Social
This Friday was the hottest day of the year so far and so it was the perfect day to get some water involved to help everyone cool off! After meeting at Acton Baptist, we all walked down to the park to enjoy the warm weather and play some awesome games.
After starting with some ice breaker games to give everyone a taste of the water games about to come, we set up a slip and slide and ran a competition to see who could slide the furthest. It was so much fun for the leaders to watch all the youth taking part and also to enjoy the occasional slide themselves!
It was then time for a massive water balloon fight. Having prepared over 200 balloons, we split the youth into teams, gave them each a bucket of water balloons, and let the chaos begin! Thoroughly soaked, we all gathered round for a picnic, enjoying a variety of food and drinks before concluding the evening and heading back to ABC.
We hope everyone had a great time, and we can’t wait to see everyone at our next event on the 1st of July!
